From Artist's Website:

Rita is considered one of the greatest "naive" art masters of her time. Formally trained on the back streets of San Clemente, cutting her teeth on canvasses covered with acrylic, Rita began drawing a crow with some ketchup packets on a napkin and was immediately signed by a prominent Laguna Beach gallery. By the time she was 52, she had graduated to inks and the use of multi-media. Ok, maybe her husband wrote this bio, but it sounds pretty good, right?

Rita is married and has two daughters in college. Her two cats, Lucky and Luna, are also big supporters of her work. She plans on showing in the Laguna Beach Arts Festival once they catch on to her progressive and playful style.
