This will be a 2-week project.
The artist Robert Natkin is renowned for his lyrical paintings that marry the energy of Abstract Expressionism with luminous Post-Impressionist coloring.
Warm-up + Project
We are concentrating on Robert Natkin's later paintings rather than on the full body of work and the series he painted during his long and successful career as an artist.

-paint sticks
-markers
We are going to concentrate on layering, adding, and removing as we develop our artwork this week. We will slow down as we sit with the work and allow the process to be a very important element. Consider the direction that the piece is asking to move into. What transformation might take place?
We are again pushing past our comfort zone this week and next.
