Begin by playing with simple shapes and colors. Perhaps cut out rectangles and squares and play with different positioning. Consider dimensions, cutouts, and negative spaces as you begin to build your project idea.
Use what you have discovered to develop your own visual language. Is there an idea that you are wanting to express to the viewer?
