As always, I was drawn into the world of Marta Minujin's conceptual art by the works' size, color, pattern, and whimsy!

Warm-up + Project

Here are some directions you may take in considering your project this week:

  • A free-standing 3-dimensional sculpture.

  • A 2-dimensional  piece with 3D forms expanding and growing out of the piece.

  • Drawings or paintings based on her twisty, layered, pattern pieces.

  • Fabric or cut paper assembled in layers to create a flat piece.

Read about Marta, and watch the videos. What inspires you?

There are many possibilities and, of course, no wrong solution.

We will play and have fun!
