Marta Minujín is an Argentine conceptual and performance artist.
As always, I was drawn into the world of Marta Minujin's conceptual art by the works' size, color, pattern, and whimsy!
Warm-up + Project
Here are some directions you may take in considering your project this week:
A free-standing 3-dimensional sculpture.
A 2-dimensional piece with 3D forms expanding and growing out of the piece.
Drawings or paintings based on her twisty, layered, pattern pieces.
Fabric or cut paper assembled in layers to create a flat piece.
Read about Marta, and watch the videos. What inspires you?
There are many possibilities and, of course, no wrong solution.
We will play and have fun!
