I’m a multidisciplinary artist working in painting, illustration, printmaking, sculpture, collage, and social practice. I live and make between New York City and New Jersey. I’m drawn to socially engaged craft based projects that invite participation.
This will be a 2-week project.
Warm-up + Project:
Lindsay Frances Jones' practice explores "a gateway to the visual language of self ".
Spending 2 weeks with this artist will allow time to settle in and create drawings, paintings, collage, and 3D work as you choose.
Create what you know, create where you are, create what you feel, and try to allow for joy and play to come through. But please, create what you need!
Week #1
Exploration through drawing, painting, or collage.
Week #2
Lift your ideas off the page to explore a 3-dimensional project, this may also include a textured relief piece or a free-standing image.
As always, all materials and approaches are welcomed and encouraged!
