Indonesian outsider artist Fika Leon is often inspired by memories from his past experiences. He depicts this energy and emotion in his brushstrokes, layered thick paint, sometimes whimsical, sometimes aggressive figures stacked like totems with large features and dance-like movement to reflect these memories.

Some of his paintings are intended to create joyful experiences from his childhood, in which he wishes to deliver happiness to his audience.
