Beverly Fishman is an American painter and sculptor whose work explores science, medicine, and the body.
Warm-up + Project
As always I chose Fishman’s artwork based on her visually interesting and colorful paintings. As I researched more I learned that her life's work as an artist has been focused on pharmaceuticals, medicine, and personal experiences.
My interest for us this week is to create a variety of shaped pieces which can be moved around in various combinations to create a final piece.
Please consider experiences from your life that express joy, beauty and peace. Of course you may choose any inspiration that you wish to guide your artmaking this week.
