Warm-up + Project
The theme this week is Bits and Pieces inspired by the work of Basil Beattie.
I would like you to consider the idea of working with collage this week.
Reflect on your own work, your style and ideas.
What kind of markings, images, shapes, lines, and color do you use regularly in your work?
I would encourage you to grab old work that you are willing to cut, tear and use in your collage process. If you do not have any available, create some sheets that you might incorporate in your art this week.
Grab any and all materials for your collage experience.
This is meant to be a playful exploration. You do not have to answer a thoughtful question or even understand the reason for your journey. Gather your materials and we will get started!
